Producer Wyck Godfrey has not one, but two upcoming video game adaptations on his hands: Gears of War and Dead Space. In a recent interview, he provided a couple updates on the films.

Gears of War, a game that follows a group of soldiers who travel to the planet Sera to save its humans from the Locust Horde,  has not officially gotten off the ground, but Godfrey mentioned that director Len Wiseman “put together a whole presentation, so we should know pretty quickly if this version is going to move forward or not.”

As for Dead Space, a horror sci-fi game where the player fights an infestation of horrific aliens, Eagle Eye’s D.J. Caruso is set to direct.
