Eli Roth (Cabin Fever, Hostel Part I & II, Inglourious Basterds) is set to produce a new alien flick entitled Invasion.  The film was written by Ben Magid who recently worked on the film adaptation of Hack/Slash, as well as sold his original screenplay that has a new twist on the Peter Pan story.

Invasion is said to be in the vain of Cloverfield, beginning with an accident that takes place in a subway below Los Angeles.  When the survivors of the crash rise to ground level, they find a Los Angeles that lies in ruins.  Snow falls as mobs of people walk the streets, which are covered in areas by acidic alien goo.

On top of producing the film, Eli Roth will soon be directing another sci-fi movie he wrote entitled Endangered Species.
