Josh Brolin has been cast in the next installment of the Men in Black series, but reports challenge whether or not he will be replacing Tommy Lee Jones as Agent K.  According to the Los Angeles Times, Brolin could either be playing Jones’s successor or a younger version of Jones’s character.

Will Smith, however, is expected to return as Agent J from a script by Tropic Thunder’s Etan Cohen.  The sequel is expected to begin production next year with Barry Sonnenfeld to return to the director’s chair, though nothing has been officially confirmed yet.
