Go Behind the Scenes of ‘Kick-Ass’

kick-ass-poster-paintQuite simply, ‘Kick-Ass’ looks like every shade of awesome. It’s a hard-R, well-casted, conceptually flawless film about not-so-superheroes that — dare I say — actually looks original. Sample footage of the flick made a huge splash at Comicon last year, with reports igniting way back then that it would one of the most buzzed about films of this summer.

At the first glance at the trailer, it sorta looks like a mash-up between ‘The Incredibles’ and ‘Hancock’, carrying on all the best attributes of the first and ditching all the convolution of that latter. Since the movie is based on some wildly popular source material (a graphic novel from the creator of ‘Wanted’), it seems safe to bet that Matthew Vaughn fashioned his screen story into something fun, fast-paced and full some kick-ass action.

Empire online managed to get some footage with the cast and crew on the set of the film, including some exclusive interviews with young, stellar cast. You can see the footage for yourself at Collider.com, and check out Kick-Ass at a theatre near you April 16.
